We harness the natural power of the sun to dry our fresh fruit. It’s not only the best way to ensure premium flavor, it’s the most efficient energy source in the world. There is no substitute for it’s warmth and consistency. Our natural sun drying process takes considerably longer, but that’s the difference that makes our vodka’s delicious, unique flavor.
There are vodka purists…and then there are vodka adventurers. Porch Light takes the less traveled path, using the already abundant sugar in grapes as our base for distillation, then infusing sherry into the process to create a pure, clean and slightly less neutral spirit that lends itself beautifully to other flavors. Our sun dried tomatoes and strawberries soak in the vodka for six weeks, while our sun dried apricots and figs take a full six months to fully develop the unique Porch Light flavor.
